Elizabeth wants any individual of any background to be able to feel safe and welcome to be themselves authentically to achieve healing and growth. Elizabeth received her Master of Education in Counseling and Personnel Services with a concentration in Art Therapy from the University of Louisville in 2024 and currently practices as a Licensed Professional Art Therapist Associate (LPATA) under the supervision of Mandee McKelvey, LPAT-S. Elizabeth primarily focuses on working with adults. Elizabeth has worked with individuals with a range of diagnosis’, finding special interest in working with Anxiety, Depression, OCD, ADHD, and Level 1 ASD. Elizabeth has experience in working with those individuals who are undergoing grief, have experienced traumas, struggling in their identity development, and those with low self-concept. Elizabeth’s goal when working with a client is to act as a kind force in their clients’ lives to help them to make positive changes in their lives, their outlook, and their thinking. While Person-Centered Therapy is their primary theoretical background, Elizabeth supplements their care approach using some techniques from Solution Focused therapies, Queer Informed and Trauma Informed therapy practices, as well as some basic methods from ACT and DBT.

Jo provides compassionate mental health counseling for adults and older adolescents, with a therapeutic focus on individuals who have experienced trauma, as well as those dealing with challenges related to grief, low self-esteem, mood disorders, eating disorders, substance use disorders, ADHD, and OCD. She aims to help others process their thoughts, emotions, and life experiences through a holistic and individualized blend of treatment strategies, including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), solution-focused therapy, and LGBTQ+ affirming care. No matter where someone is on their journey, Jo believes in creating a safe, welcoming environment for clients to feel heard, seen, and understood and explore their authentic personhood through the healing
potential of art.
Sarah has over 15 years of experience working as a therapist in a variety of settings including residential programs, educational institutions, home-based therapy and inpatient and outpatient treatment programs. For the past several years she has worked with adults affected by substance use and co-occurring mental health disorders. Sarah uses a variety of therapeutic modalities in practice, including Motivational Interviewing, CBT, DBT techniques, ACT, psychoeducation and art therapy. Sarah is passionate about providing accessible and compassionate care in an environment that fosters feelings of safety and acceptance and is inspired by the strength, perseverance and discovery that evolves from the therapeutic process her clients navigate. Sarah feels grateful to have the opportunity to help support others through their unique journeys. Sarah's areas of expertise include: Depression, Anxiety, Trauma, Substance Use Disorders and Chronic Illness. Sarah also has been supervising Licensed Professional Art Therapist Associates since 2018.
Lori graduated with her Master’s in Social Work in 2015 from Northern Kentucky University. Lori works with individuals, couples, and families and uses a person-centered approach to support clients with many diagnoses such as Depression, Anxiety, PTSD, ADHD, Personality Disorders, and Adjustment Disorders. Lori is passionate about supporting children, teens and adults in all stages of their lives, including childhood and young adulthood challenges, grief and loss, pre-marital counseling, parent coaching, couples counseling, relationship discernment counseling, and end-of-life therapy. Lori uses evidence-based treatments that are proven to be the most successful, including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Emotion-Focused Therapy, and Gottman Couples Counseling (Level 3 Trained). Lori also specializes in providing therapy to other therapists.
***At your first session, you can expect to (1) meet with Lori to see if you and Lori are a good fit to work together, (2) Lori will complete an assessment of your therapeutic needs and goals, and (3) Lori will support you with getting started on those goals from the very first session!
